We are proud to present a Featured Screening of ABC’s The Last Defense, a project from Executive Producer Juvee Productions (Viola Davis and her husband and Austinite Julius Tennon) on Friday, August 31 from 12:30p – 2:30p.

Episode 2 of The Last Defense focuses on the death row case of Julius Jones, a 21-year-old African American college student in Oklahoma sentenced to death for carjacking and murder.
Following the screening, there will be a discussion about the creation of the series and the journey of investigating the Julius Jones death row case.

The panelists will feature Co-creators and EPs Vanessa Potkin and Aida Leisenring, Director Amani Martin, Executive Producer Andrew Wang, Federal Public Defender Amanda Bass, and Jones’s friend and ally Jimmy Lawson.
